We have a BIG problem.

In modern America, most of us buy almost everything we need—everyday items like food, water, and building supplies. We produce less and less of what we consume, but we keep consuming more and more! Local, sustainable production is nearly a distant memory.

And, mathematically, it doesn’t work out well.

If you don’t produce (at minimum) the same amount that you consume, you’re in trouble—you go into debt.

Guess what? It’s worse than just our lack of production.

Not only do we consume more than we produce, but a great deal of what Americans consume is often manufactured overseas. Even products important to our safety and security like components for military weaponry and medications are manufactured in other countries!

Okay, that’s a problem.

But, what can you, the average American consumer, do?

Produce more.

Specifically, produce more of the life essentials—food, water, shelter, and medicine.

You, regardless where you live or what you do, can produce more. I’m talking about the essentials that were once produced in this country, by and for average Americans—people like you.

Yet, if you decide to start producing more, you start running into another problem: learning how to produce, and how to do it efficiently and effectively.

Food

When you grow fruits, vegetables, and meats yourself, then you know your diet is truly chemical-free and as nutritionally-dense as possible. If you produce it, you know that your healthy food is really, really healthy.

Still, growing food and raising animals isn’t easy; you need to know a LOT.

  • How to grow fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and dairy…yourself
  • How to increase production and get “more bang for your buck”
  • How to fight pests, diseases, and bad weather
  • How to build a sustainable, home food production system

These are skills that our ancestors learned growing up and they could rely upon the collective wisdom of past generations and stand upon their shoulders.

But we in modern society have mostly grown up without any of that wisdom and skillset being handed down to us.

We don’t know what we don’t know, so even if we have desire and determination, our lack of knowledge and wisdom sets us up for failure.

For example, how do you know what is most important when purchasing animals?

Or, what kind of soil do plants need to function, and how do you build soil so that they will thrive?  Author and farming instructor Noah Sanders taught about this essential topic, and you can get a peek at his teaching by continuing to read below.

Life Essentials

Producing food is great, but living requires so much more.

You need:

  • Water
  • Medicine
  • Building materials & shelter

Those essentials must be produced, stored, and wisely utilized.

Wow, that’s a lot to learn!

And, that’s why I’m so excited today.

You might be saying, “Excited? What?”

Let me explain.

We just released our BRAND NEW Beyond Off Grid Summit Event Video Course, and I want to tell you a bit about it really quick.

Unlike a lot of so-called “summits”, we hosted a REAL live Summit training event at a unique permaculture farm in the mountains of Virginia that’s implementing this teaching on self-reliance and sustainable living, and actually building and installing the off-grid and old-path technology that we’re advocating.

The best part?

We professionally recorded all of the training and we’ve produced it into the most unique homesteading training course available.

The Event Video Course features 25 informative sessions on the very topics you need to learn to increase your production.

Topics like:

  • Timber management and harvesting
  • Animal husbandry (pigs, cattle, chickens, sheep, dairy cows, and horses)
  • Production infrastructure (mobile structures, greenhouses, and structure placement)
  • Growing food and scaling up your production
  • Blacksmithing
  • Medical preparedness
  • And, other essential information to help you increase your productivity

Your instructors are experienced homesteaders and farmers who have already traveled this road and learned the hard (and expensive) lessons.

  • Josh Deel (homesteader, bandsaw mill operator and Certified Permaculture Designer)
  • Franklin Sanders (author and homesteader)
  • Ben Harris (horse logger practicing sustainable forestry)
  • Noah Sanders (homesteader, sustainable farmer, and author of Born-Again Dirt)
  • Mike Brabo (homesteader and sustainable CSA farmer)
