Last week, I took my family to Staunton, Virginia, to visit the Frontier Culture Museum for their Homeschool Day. The Frontier Culture Museum is a unique place, where they have recreated the rural living conditions of farms from England, Ireland, Germany, Africa, and America from the 1700s to the mid-1800s.
These farms provide some great opportunities for learning about how people lived off the land before the advent of electricity and other modern technology. Enjoy these pictures I took during our visit to the Frontier Culture Museum.
