“The Survivalist Gardener”
Rick Austin is a radio show host, author, and an expert survivalist. Rick has been practicing sustainable living and home building practices for 30 years. He hosts the Secrets of a Survivalist radio show on the Preparedness Radio Network.
He is the author of Secret Garden of Survival, outlining his method for making a camouflaged food forest that produces more food than traditional gardening techniques, and Secret Greenhouse of Survival, demonstrating his greenhouse design that provides passive solar heating of his home and hot water, as well as enabling him to grow food year round. His gardening method has being featured on the National Geographic program, Doomsday Castle. Rick lives with his family in North Carolina.
