If there’s one thing that I’ve learned as a gardener, entrepreneur and homesteader (and one who’s interviewed many dozens of homesteaders the past few years), it’s that what you don’t know can hurt you.

Mistakes cost you time, money, and resources. And, failing to plan appropriately is the biggest mistake of all…the mistake that eats into your profits and makes meeting expenses even harder. That principle applies to homesteading too.

Let’s face it—homesteading is an expensive venture to start in the 21st Century.

It takes time, money, and resources to start homesteading. And, just like in a business, you should consider some things before and during the launch.

  • Planning—the what, when, and how of homesteading
  • What resources do you have and how can you best utilize them all for current and long-term productivity?
  • What things should you do today and what things should wait?
  • How do you prevent your homestead from draining your pocketbook?

Your goal should be to avoid expensive mistakes and waste. Like in a small business, you have limited resources.

It’s imperative to plan, plan, and plan some more…and base that planning upon wisdom and advice from experienced homesteaders.

  • Those experienced homesteaders have already traveled down this path.
  • They’ve already learned the hard lessons.
  • They’ve already made the expensive mistakes.

They’ve done it and are happy to share their wisdom with you, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes they did!

Wisdom You Need

This wisdom is essential for you, whether you’re just thinking about homesteading, or if you’ve already started homesteading and want to continue your journey to success.

I’ve been working with these experienced homesteaders for years now in the process of producing our documentary film and our dozens of online training sessions, because I’m passionate about learning and sharing the best practices that lead to success (and pointing out the mistakes that lead to failure).

And, even more of this amazing knowledge and wisdom is reserved for you – in our brand new Summit Event Video Course! In the Summit Event Video Course, you’ll hear from people who’ve been there and done that.

Here’s just one quick example:

“Noah’s father wanted a family home place and Noah was interested in farming and living near his parents. They decided they would try it then, while they could. On 11ac, he did (on a small scale) what he was interested in doing on a large scale: Gardening, laying hens, and meat birds. He read Joel Salatin’s book…He came up with property characteristics and prayed specifically for them. (Without the property characteristics, there’s a risk of getting emotionally attached to a property that just won’t work.) Amazingly, the Lord provided everything they asked for, and even more than they’d thought to ask for. Only problem? It was mostly woods without buildings, power, or water.”
