We rolled into beautiful Oregon not so early in the day Thursday and encountered terrible traffic as we neared downtown Portland, where we were scheduled to meet Scott Howard of Earthen Hand for an interview at his home.
Mr. Howard’s passion about what he does – build houses that are low in embodied energy, provide their own power, water, and food while processing their own wastes.
It was a pleasure to meet Scott, hear his views on sustainable building and have him contribute to our work. We were thankful he made himself available for us.
So…the interviews on our Northwest filming tour are done! We are ready to get home and take a breather, then we get going on the tedious tasks of sorting and editing. After that we’ll chart out our next interview trip and keep you posted with our progress!
